BTA: 21 Travel Agencies Allowed To Run Beijing One-day Trips
In order to regulate Beijing's one-day trip market and prevent outside tourists from joining illegal tour groups, Beijing Tourism Administration has published the names of 21 travel agencies who have been authorized to run one-day trip services in Beijing.
BTA is also preparing to draft a regulation to manage the one-day trip market, which may ask travel agencies to provide the travel routes in the contract signed with the tourists and state the food criteria to be offered on the journey.
The 21 travel agencies that have been permitted to offer one-day Beijing trips are: CITS Head Office, CYTS Head Office, Beijing Shenzhou International Travel Agency, Tianma Travel Service, Beijing Science International Travel Service, Beijing Railway Travel Agency, Beijing Zhong Ou International Travel Agency, Beijing Guo Ji Hong JI Travel Agency, Beijing North Star Guanjian International Travel Agency, Yinjian International Travel Agency, Beijing CTS Modern Travel Agency, Beijing Baoxiang Travel Agency, Beijing Qingchun Holiday Travel Agency, Beijing Jinhangcheng Travel Agency, Beijing Chengjin Travel Agency, Bejiing Yatai Holiday Garden Travel Agency, Beijing Yanmin Guodu Travel Agency, Beijing Hong Tai Yang Travel Agency, Bejing Shenzhou Huanqiu Xing Travel Agency and Beijing Chaoyue Zhi Lv Travel Agency.

THere are many travel companies working officially in Beijing. This regulation is aiming to smash the travel market and create monopoly in the market. Can you imagine: a travel company who is not listed, can not organize the tour himself but has to pass his client to some other company. It is not fair I believe.
