JW Marriott Prepares For Hotel Opening In Beijing
Marriott International will open its first JW Marriott-branded hotel in Beijing in the fall of 2007.
"While the definition of luxury is constantly evolving and is unique to each individual, our JW Marriott hotels and resorts understand the desire for personal luxury and offer relevant experiences that respond to the needs of individual travelers – one guest at a time," said Franco Io, General Manager of the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing.
The architect of the 590-room JW Marriott Hotel Beijing, located in the China Central Place, is KPF while HBA is responsible for its interior design.
The Qua Spa center of the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing will have 12 treatment rooms and it will be complemented by a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment. The hotel will have an oversized residential-style Executive Guest Lounge with a relaxing environment and superior food and beverage services. It will also have an Executive Business Center with 24-hour access offering a full spectrum of services as well as work and meeting environments.
For dining and entertainment, the hotel will have a lobby lounge and three restaurants including a casual, all-day restaurant featuring a permanent grand buffet; a grill restaurant offering two private dining rooms and a French restaurant.
For social events and conferences, the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing will have 1,795 square meters of space. There will be a 1,200 square meter grand ballroom that will be divisible into five sections, five 95 square meter meeting rooms, one 60 square meter meeting room and one boardroom.
