Sheraton Guiyang Hotel has announced two new members of its core executive management team.

Vincent Thong has been appointed general manager of the Sheraton Guiyang Hotel. Thong is a Hong Kong citizen and a graduate of the HOTELCONSULT Hotel Management Institute Switzerland. He has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 18 years and has rich experience in hotel management and operation. Thong has held senior management positions in several hotel management companies such as Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. In 1999 he has joined Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and previously worked as senior manager for Sheraton hotels in Shengyang, Jiuzhaigou, Chengdu and Ningbo.

Sally Yang has been appointed director of sales and marketing of the Sheraton Guiyang Hotel. Yang has more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience with brands such as Sheraton, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and Harbour Plaza Hotels and Resorts. She has also worked with other Sheraton hotels in Auckland, Guilin and Chengdu. Prior to joining the Sheraton Guiyang hotel, she was the director of sales and marketing of the Sheraton Chengdu Lido hotel.
