Accor will open a new boutique hotel in Shanghai later this month.

Located at Yandang Road, the Pudi Boutique Hotel Shanghai offers 52 rooms whose prices range from RMB4680 per night to RMB14000 per night.

Different from other five-star hotels of the Accor Group, the boutique hotel of the group has fewer rooms, but the size of each room is big with the smallest one being 50 sqm and the hotel focuses more on privacy and individuality with simple facilities. There is a service team of 3-4 members on each floor providing service to the guests.

The hotel is currently in a soft opening mode and it is expected to be formally opened at the end of this month.

Accor owns some boutiques hotels in other cities in the world, but the group has not had a unified brand for these boutique hotels. A representative from Accor China told local media that their next step is to unveil a unified brand for such hotels in the global market.
