The British Airways Speedbird Club, a dedicated trade website, has been launched in China to provide travel agents with round-the-clock access to all the information they need about British Airways.

"British Airways places a very high value on our relationship with our trade partners. China is an important market for us and the launch of British Airways Speedbird Club will take our relationship with the trade to the next level," said Sara Thorley, British Airways manager, China.

Features offered on the website include news and information on British Airways products, services and policies; latest route and schedule news; and interactive menus and search functions.

Travel agents can register their details with British Airways Speedbird Club allowing them access to a range of additional benefits that include special offers for registered users only; participation in interactive activities; and exclusive training sessions and competitions

"With seven Boeing 777 flights per week (6 flights a week in winter) from Beijing to London Heathrow Airport and 5 between Shanghai and London, China is a very important market for British Airways," continued Thorley. "British Airways Speedbird Club provides our partners in this region with all the tools and information they need to deliver a high level of service to their customers by keeping them constantly updated with the latest news and travel information."

British Airways Speedbird Club is now available in 14 countries across the Asia Pacific region.
