South Africa Promotes Its Natural Beauty In China
The "Land of Nature, Enjoy South Africa" promotion tour by the Tourism Bureau of South Africa started in Guangzhou on May 28, and the tour will extend to Shanghai and Beijing soon.
Twenty tourist organizations led by Zolelwa Mukozho, the manager of Asia and Australia areas of the Tourism Bureau of South Africa, are showcasing related tourist routes and products to the Chinese industry people and consumers.
Zolelwa Mukozho said, "We are proud of our diverse natural resources and we develop and protect them effectively, now South Africa is becoming a star destination in the fierce tourist market. About 8,400 million tourists visited South Africa last year, with a 13.9% increase compared to the previous year, far higher than the global level of 4.5%."
South Africa was listed as the fifth most popular tourist destination in the world by Conde Nast Traveller due to its unparalleled sceneries and the hospitality. A tourist commissioner of the South African Embassy in China commented that South Africa is an ideal tourist destination around the year and it has the longest average sunlight hours of 9.5 a day in the world, so whenever the tourists go there, the rich sunshine and clear sky will follow them.
