Tourism Officials Sign Qingdao Manifesto
Tourism Ministers from China, Japan and South Korea have announced a Qingdao Manifesto on Promoting Tourism Exchange and Cooperation among China, Japan and South Korea at the second tourism cooperation conference among the three countries held in Qingdao.
According to the Manifesto, the three countries will organize a series of tourism exchange programs. The Manifesto points out that the three countries will also enhance tourism communication among their younger travelers and encourage cultural organizations to prepare educational activities.
They will also share the great opportunities brought by major international events like 2007 Osaka World Track and Field Tournament, 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 2009 Incheon World City Exposition and 2010 Shanghai Expo, encouraging their citizens to visit the other two countries and attracting tourists from other parts of the world to visit the three countries.
The third tourism cooperation conference of the three countries is reportedly going to be held in June 2008 in Busan.
