Grand Mercure Baolong Hotel has just unveiled a new look in Shanghai after completion of a major renovation.

The renovation transformed the hotel into a luxurious product with a totally new look. The lobby features a stunning waterfall, running streams and music from years past and present, while four distinctive outlets offer dining experiences.

Ten meeting rooms covering more than 1000 square meters area can accommodate between 10 to 350 persons. Each conference room can be customized to meet the specific needs of events or meetings. A dedicated meeting and conference team is located on the same floor as all its meeting rooms.

Accor introduced the brand to China in 2005, with the launch of Grand Mercure on Renmin Square, Xi'an and the group is looking to expand the network into major resorts and commercial capitals around Asia Pacific.

Accor currently manages 31 Grand Mercure hotels and resorts around Asia Pacific, with another 10 committed to development and opening before the end of 2009.
