Destination Travel Signs Distribution Deal With Triton
Triton Distribution Systems has inked an agreement with Destination Travel International in China.
This partnership will give travel agents around the world the ability book DTI's one-day coach tours and tour packages through Triton's Red Dragon Express.
"DTI has a large team of well educated and well trained professional tour guides who speak a variety of languages," said Yanyi Zou, general manager of DTI Beijing. "Our mission is to become the most popular sightseeing company in China. We are making this a reality by working closely with the government to support us in creating new city tours, MICE projects and tailor made package tours."
Founded in 1985, DTI is one of the leading sightseeing companies in China with offices in Beijing and Shanghai, the two major gateways into China. Focusing on the city tours, DTI has been recognized by its clients and the industry as the premier FIT tour operator in China. DTI is also working closely with international hotel chains to provide on-location tour services directly to house guests. So far over 100 hotels are selling DTI products while over 30 hotels have DTI service counters.
"We are excited to be partnering with Destination Travel International and offering agents around the world access to their unique tours," said Gregory Lykiardopoulos, chairman and CEO for Triton. "China is on course to overtake the United States this year in terms of foreign visitors which is why we are aggressively building a network of top-tier travel vendors like DTI."
