Executives Take Positions At Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel
A new general manager and director of marketing have respectively taken their new positions at Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel.
Siamak Djalali has a career in the hotel industry spanning 39 years and brings a wealth of experience to the Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel in his new position as general manager. He has spent the last 27 years with Marriott International and before arriving in Shanghai he was most recently in Vietnam. Djalali who was born in Iran, raised in Austria and educated in the United States.
Mabel Chau is the newly appointed director of marketing for the Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel, and she has over 25 years of working experiences in the hospitality industry. Chau is an EMBA graduate of the University of Ottawa, holder of a Certificate of Hospitality Coaching from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, and also studies at The University of Toronto and University of Hawaii in advertising and hotel management. Professional records include the grand opening team of Hong Kong Disneyland and other international hotels in Asia. She was also head of the Asia Regional Sales Office for The Peninsula Group for six years.
