Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has appointed Craig Powell as the resident manager of Traders Hotel, Shenyang.

Powell, originally from Fiji, is fully responsible for hotel operations and is reporting to the general manager. In his 19 years of hotel experience, he has worked in several international hotels that include Rasa Sentosa Resort, Singapore; Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and the Fiji Mocambo Hotel; Golden Flower Hotel, Xian; and Shenyang is his second appointment within the Shangri-La Group in China.
