Days Inn To Open New Outlets In Chengdu
Days Inn will open their new outlets in Chengdu by the autumn of 2008.
Different from the other patterns of management and franchises, Days Inn will take the wholly new form of hotel trusteeship which says the hotels' owners will lease their properties to Days Inn, and Days Inn will commit to decorate and renovate the properties as well as take full management and operation responsibilities. According to their contracts, the hotels' owners will obtain corresponding investment returns.
For this time, Days Inn has chosen two locations in Chengdu for opening their outlets, one of which is located at the city center and another at Ximen. These two properties are originally office buildings with over 10,000 square meters of space, respectively. Days Inn told local media that they will spend more than RMB50 million to decorate and renovate these two properties after leasing them, and they are positioned as one four-star and one three-star levels with totaling 600 guestrooms.
Days Inn reportedly also has a series of expansion plans set to begin by March 31, 2008, including 10 hotel projects in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Qingdao and Dalian under the new pattern.
