Hanting Hotels will open new outlets at Wangfujing and Dongdan in Beijing by May 2008.

The hotel located on Silver Street in Dongdan has been complete and is in the opening preparation phase. Cao Juan, general manager of Northern Region of Hanting Hotels said that Hanting targets those business travelers who have a certain level of economic budget but want purchasing efficiency and a known brand. The company expects to provide better service and lower rates for customers at prominent locations through economies of scale and improved management.

Currently, Hanting has about 100 hotels and 200 franchised outlets in major cities around China. Most of these are located in urban business centers or prime areas with convenient transportation. For example, Hanting has two outlets in the Xidan business district of Beijing, several in areas near to Xujiahui in Shanghai, and more than ten on the bank of Xihu Lake in Hangzhou. These hotels plus the two new outlets in Wangfujing and Dongdan enjoy a prominent location close to high-end hotels in the same area but offering lower rates than them.
