According to Anhui Provincial Tourism Bureau, as of the end of 2007, the number of star-grade hotels around the province had reached 403.

Among these 403 star-grade hotels, there are 5 five-star, 55 four-star, 143 three-star, and 187 two-star hotels. With aspect to location, the top five cities with the largest number of star-grade hotels were Huangshan, Anqing, Hefei, Xuancheng, and Chizhou respectively with 70, 42, 40, 37, and 24 star-grade hotels.

The average occupancy rate of 403 hotels was 64.5% with the average rate being RMB166.8 per room. The statistic indicates that these hotels can provide a total of 39,288 guestrooms with 70,972 beds, and has achieved about RMB3.68 billion operational revenue in 2007.

As of the end of 2007, Anhui has awarded 56 green hotels including 25 at Golden Leaf Level and 31 at Silver Leaf Level. There are more than 80 hotels waiting for star-grade assessment in 2008.
