Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc. announced today a frequent traveler partnership with Air China. Members of Air China Companion, the frequent flyer programme of Air China, can now earn 800 base kilometers for all qualifying stays at over 750 Starwood hotels around the world. Air China Companion members who are also members of Starwood's guest loyalty programme, Starwood Preferred Guest, can transfer StarpointsSM into their Air China account at a 1:1 ratio. Every transfer of 20,000 Starpoints will enjoy a bonus of 5,000 kilometers. In celebration of this partnership, Starwood is offering double kilometers to frequent flyer members of Air China Companion when they stay at Starwood hotels around the world from 16 August to 31 October 2004.
