Virgin Atlantic has announced that from this week it will have a roundtrip flight every day between Shanghai and London.

Richard Branson, president of Virgin Atlantic, released the news himself in Shanghai this week. He said that Virgin Atlantic has delivered people 400,000 times between Shanghai and London since it opened the line six years ago.
With the rapid development of China's economy, more British people are ready to fly to China.

Richard has told the media that provided the new planes they ordered are delivered on schedule, Virgin Atlantic will also open a direct line between Beijing and London by the end of next year. He has promised to refund the visa application fee (about RMB1000) to Chinese passengers who go to Britain by Virgin Atlantic's flight during January and February 2006.

So far, Virgin Atlantic has reduced the airfare between China and Britain to less than RMB4000 to help expand its market share in China.
