Wuhu, a large county in Anhui Province, will build the largest amusement park in mainland China along the Yangtze River.
With investment from Shenzhen Huaqiang Holdings Limited, one of the largest amusement companies in China, it will be a themed park equipped with the most advanced technology in China.
With an investment of about RMB2 billion, there will be 12 themed sections and the park is expected to accept more than 3 million visitors a year.
Local government officials from Wuhu said that because Wuhu is located in a vibrant economic zone along the Yangtze River, its proximity to cities like Shanghai, Nanjing, Hefei and Hangzhou offer it a great advantage.
The park will be open in 2007.
