The Civil Aviation Administration of China announced that it will issue an operation license to Huaxia Airlines, a new carrier that has been preparing for two years to fly domestic routes in China.
Invested by four companies, Huaxia Airlines has a registered capital of RMB80 million. Of that sum, RMB32 million is invested by Hongshang Industry Holding Company (40%), RMB8.8 million from Beijing Longkai Chuangxing Technology Development Company (11%) and the rest is from two foreign companies.
Huaxia Airlines, along with Spring Airlines, UE Air and OK Air, is part of the first batch of privately-owned Chinese airlines that have recently received flying licenses from CAAC.
