The Head Office of China International Travel Service has signed an agreement with Guilin Tourism Corporation on the stake transfer of Guilin Shanshui Tourism, an affiliate of Guilin Tourism Corporation. This marks a beginning for CITS' exploration of the Guilin travel market.

According to the agreement, Guilin Tourism Corporation will transfer 49% of the stake of Guilin Shanshui Tourism, and Guilin Lipuyinziyan Tourism will transfer 2% of the stake of Guilin Shanshui Tourism to CITS. After the transaction, Guilin Shanshui Tourism will be renamed as CITS Guilin Company.

CITS is one of the largest travel agencies in China. It has 14 branches in more than 10 countries and regions. In China, it has over 20 affiliates and 120 group members. The stake transfer will help CITS to effectively make use of the travel resources in Guilin.
