Yunnan's Diqing Tibetan Autonomous District Government, Beijing Zhaode Property Limited and Singapore Amanresorts Group have signed a cooperation agreement to bring five-star hotel brand Amanresorts to the Shangri-La area in Yunnan Province.

As one of the world's leading international hotel groups, Amanresorts has 18 hotels in 12 countries and regions. It is cooperating with Beijing Zhaode Property to construct a hotel featuring the local folk style at Pudacuo Scenic Spot in the Shangri-La area. Involving a total investment of RMB300 million, the hotel will be a deluxe 5-star hotel combining the local folk culture and deluxe standard.

Qizhala, governor of Diqing, says the launch of Amanresorts Shangri-La will attract high-class tourists for Diqing and improve the travel market and consumption level there. It will also train high-quality hotel staff and create more employment opportunities.
