Josh D'Amaro, Hong Kong Disneyland's vice president for sales and marketing, has come to Beijing for a sales promotion for their new development in 2007.

D'Amaro says that in 2007, they will launch some new strategies based on the current cooperation between Hong Kong Disneyland and the travel industry in the mainland to continue expanding into the mainland market.

Hong Kong Disneyland targeted Beijing and other cities in mainland China when it was first launched in 2005. At present, they have already entered cooperation relationship with more than 30 wholesalers and more than 300 travel agencies in the mainland, and achieved a satisfactory sales volume.

D'Amaro also says that they will launch a new marketing strategy, involving special network service, incentive sales plans and MICE opportunities, in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Chengdu, Chongqing and Shenyang in the coming year to attract more business visitors to Hong Kong Disneyland.
