Many African countries say that they will attend this year's China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market to be held in May in Beijing.

The national tourism bureaus, travel operators, travel agencies and hotel groups from African countries like Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunis, Uganda and Zimbabwe are now busy preparing for the upcoming COTTM which will be held at China World Trade Center on May 14-16, 2007.

With 26 African countries approved as travel destinations for Chinese citizens, Africa received 30%-40% more Chinese tourists during the past Spring Festival than the year before. COTTM is said to provide an ideal platform for African travel operators who want to establish more partnerships with Chinese travel firms.
