Huangshan Hospitality Professionals Will Now Have Credit Ratings

Huangshan City in Anhui Province is currently creating a database of travel professionals in the city to track ethics and credible business conduct.
The city will provide each travel agent, tour guide, and hospitality professional with a rating based on the number of complaints they receive and how they operate themselves in the China tourism sector. The city will also periodically publish a blacklist of those travel professionals who fail to fulfill their commitments and those professionals will face an undecided punishment.
In addition, the tourism department in the city says it will create standards for checking hospitality professionals' service quality. The review results of each professional will be included into the overall index of the company they serve. This will directly affect the annual inspection result of their companies and may impact whether companies can renew their business licenses.
