W Hotels To Land In Guangzhou

KWG Property has signed with Starwood to bring the deluxe luxury hotel brand W Hotels to Guangzhou.
The new hotel, which is located in Zhujiang New Town of Guangzhou, will be the sixth W Hotels in Asia and it is scheduled to open in 2009. The hotel will cost about RMB1.5 billion and feature innovative designs while providing 320 rooms and 190 apartment suites.
Apart from the W Hotel, the parties have also signed two hotel projects in Guangzhou to open in 2009.
W Hotels is a global lifestyle brand with 21 properties in the world. Each of its hotels offers a unique mix of innovative design, comfort and cultural influences from fashion to music and art and everything in between. KWG Property is a Guangzhou-based commercial property developer set up in 2003.
