The 305-room Ritz-Carlton, Beijing hotel will open this summer as the fourth location for the brand in China.

The hotel is an integral part of a large complex that will also include 230,000 square meters of office space, eight residential towers, 160,00 square meters of high-end retail space, and an additional hotel; all surrounded by landscaped greenery.

"We are extremely pleased to add Beijing to our growing number of strategic locations around the world," said President and Chief Operating Officer Simon Cooper. "Our outstanding hotels in China have been among our most successful ventures. As China continues to welcome new business opportunities, following the signing of the World Trade Organization agreement, Beijing holds much promise for even greater future success."

At 45 sqm, the entry-level guestrooms are one of the largest in the city. Positioned at the corners of the building, the executive suites command vantage views of the city. With windows that overlook the China Central Place gardens, the two-bedroom Ritz-Carlton Suite also encompasses a spacious living room, separate dining area, study, oversized walk-in closets and bathrooms. All rooms will include the latest state-of-the-art technology for ease of doing business.

Groups and special event planners' needs can be accommodated in the meeting space totaling 1,100 sqm. This includes a ballroom of 600 sqm located on the same floor as the meeting and breakout rooms, a boardroom and business center. Couples can celebrate their union in the wedding chapel and adjoining rose garden, and wedding services also include a hair salon, photography studio and separate areas for the bride and groom.

This new Beijing outlet joins The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai; The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong; and the newly opened Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street.
