Marriott Opens Renaissance Wuhan Hotel

Marriott has expanded its portfolio in China with the opening of the 300-room Renaissance Wuhan Hotel under a management agreement with Hubei Energy Sources Group Company.

The hotel is the first Marriott property in Wuhan City, Hubei Province and the 24th in China. Located in the business district of Wuchang, one of Wuhan’s fastest developing districts, the 22-story Renaissance Wuhan Hotel is situated along the east side of the Yangtze River and within close proximity of the scenic East Lake. Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is located approximately 35km from the hotel.

The Renaissance Wuhan Hotel features 278 deluxe guest rooms, 16 suites, five apartments and one presidential suite. Each stylish guestroom offers well-appointed amenities including plush bedding, individually controlled air-conditioning, broadband internet access, glass work desk, and separate bathtub and shower. The Renaissance Club Lounge, located on the 21st floor, is exclusive to Club Floor guests and offers spectacular views as well as complimentary continental breakfast, evening canapés and cocktails and wireless internet access.

The Renaissance Wuhan Hotel offers a good array of restaurants and lounges serving an extensive range of local and international cuisines. For meetings and events, the hotel boasts state-of-the-art banquet and conference facilities on the 3rd floor offering 1,372 sqm of meeting space. The stylish grand ballroom offers 577 sq feet of space and vaulted ceilings.

Additional luxurious amenities include an indoor heated pool, health club with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, massage service, beauty salon, cold plunge pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
