Eleven hotels in Jiangxi Province, including Nanchang Huayu Hotel, have had their star-grade qualifications revoked.
Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission says that these hotels will stop enjoying preferential water prices accorded to industrial enterprises since their star grade qualifications are revoked.
The name of the eleven hotels have not been disclosed, but they should soon be known as they will need to make changes to their advertising and signage.
In a related move, JPDRC has approved 35 star grade hotels, including Jiangxi Minhang Garden Hotel, to adopt the same water price level as industrial enterprises.
