Sun Jian, CEO of budget hotel franchise chain Home Inn, told local media at the launch ceremony of their joint credit card with China Merchants Bank that Home Inn would consider buying some of the 30 hotels of China Post which are currently for sale at Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange.
Currently, Home Inn runs 208 opened or signed hotels in China. Sun said that Home Inn would continue to increase its hotels by 60% to 70% this year. He said that at this fast growth stage, Home Inn won't let go of many opportunities, including these China Post hotels.
According to Sun, Home Inn will mainly consider the price and location of these China Post Hotels and see if they fit with Home Inn's positioning.
