Novotel Beijing West has appointed Roger Mair as general manager for the hotel scheduled to open later this year.
No stranger to China and Beijing, Mair just arrived from Xiamen where he opened the Sofitel Plaza Xiamen two years ago. He joined Accor 10 years ago at the Sofitel in Thailand with further postings in Novotel Seoul and Novotel Hefei. In the 1990's he spent three years in Beijing as part of the pre-opening team at Shangri-La's China World Hotel.
