Shanghai-based Jinjiang Inn, one of main domestic budget hotel players, disclosed that it will open 400 hotels by 2010 and will also expand to the overseas market.
The top management of the hotel announced these moves during the company's recent tenth anniversary that as a core asset of Jinjiang Hotels, Jinjiang Inn would have about 600 signed hotels by 2010, of which 400 would be opened hotels. Jinjiang Inn currently has about 200 outlets across China.
Top management from Jinjiang Inn told local media that Jinjiang Inn is now negotiating on preparing two hotels in Russia and Holland. The Shanghai-based company said that it might build or buy existing facilities with local partners. In addition, Jinjiang Inn plans to acquire some properties in northwest China, and also focus on Xi'an and south China's Guangzhou and Shenzhen areas.
Jinjiang Inn is a subsidiary of local hotel giant, the Jinjiang Group.
