Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning has celebrated its grand opening.

The 326-room hotel is owned by Chongbang Holdings and managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Robert Hogenstijn, regional director of operations, China, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, said, "With China's fast growing travel sector, including business and leisure travel and the meetings industry, demand has increased tremendously for upscale and international hotel products and services. We are proud to be able to play our part in contributing towards Shanghai's tourism and are confident of the success of the hotel in this booming market."

The hotel forms part of the new integrated complex called Life Hub @ Daning, an open-air urban lifestyle concept, consisting of hotel, offices, retail stores, restaurants and bars, entertainment, culture, education and ancillary services. Located in the heart of Zhabei District, a few minutes walk to Yanchang Road subway station, within easy access to the inner and middle ring road, Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning is close to nearby airports.

The hotel can accommodate a breadth of event requirements through 1,600 square meters of meeting and banquet space. With a ceiling height of 5.75 meters, the grand ballroom can be split into two rooms for groups of up to 350 people, supported by five functions rooms, one boardroom, one chairman's room and a full-service business center on the same level. Wireless internet is available in all meeting rooms and public areas.
