The daily passenger departure rate increased from April 25 and it reached the peak on April 30 at 3972 flights and 536000 passengers, respectively, which was an historical high.

Second, besides traditional hot travel cities like Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Kunming, Haikou, Sanya and Xishuang Banna, other cities like Changchun, Chengdu, Zhangjiajie, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Shantou, Yinchuan, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Guilin and Beihai also saw a big increase of tourists during the holiday.

Third, there was sufficient transportation capacity to meet tourist demand.
