Regal International East Asia Hotel in Shanghai has appointed Ian McKie as its new general manager.
A native of Britain, McKie holds a Higher National Diploma in Hotel and Catering Administration from Portsmouth Polytechnic, England. As a twenty-year veteran experienced in the hospitality industry, he started his career in England and climbed his way up to various executive positions in luxury properties such as Hyatt, Banyan Tree, Hilton as well as Marco Polo in Dubai, Macau, Fiji, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.
He was most recently the general manager of the Regal Airport Hotel in Hong Kong.
