A new travel service called Long Tour has been officially launched in Guangzhou by HNA Group.
Long Tour will partner with 300 travel agencies and hopes to occupy 50% of Guangdong's travel market share within two years.
According to Ma Guohua, president of HNA Tourism, Long Tour will take advantage of its vast airline resources and provide competitive prices on flights. For the Guangzhou to Beijing or Tianjin line, the price will be 50% lower than the retail price on the market.
Ma said that all the 35 hotels of HNA Group, which also runs Hainan Airlines, will be included into HNA Tourism by the end of this year. By that time, HNA Group will have only three business sectors: airline, tourism and airport services.
Hainan Airlines Company Limited started operations on May 2, 1993. It is one of the leading enterprises of the business unit of air transportation of HNA Group. Hainan Airlines is also the core enterprise of the Air Transportation Business Unit, and the other subsidiaries under this unit are China Xinhua Airlines, Chang'an Airlines, and Shanxi Airlines.
HNA has established Haikou, Beijing, Ningbo, Sanya, Xi'an, Taiyuan, Tianjin, Guangzhou and Urumchi as its aviation bases.
