At the recent Job Fair for Futian Tourist Service Industry held in Shenzhen, many new recruits sought jobs, but the demand for skilled labor far exceeds the supply.
More than 6,000 students from tourist schools in China and many laid-off workers were invited to attend the recruitment fair. More than 100 hotels, tourism companies, food and beverage companies, and entertainment firms focused on filling their job openings , especially for senior management and specialized technology positions.
According to statistics from Shenzhen's tourism authorities, there are hundreds of tourism companies in Futian district, and the rapid development of tourism and exhibition business has helped to build a group of high-level hotels in the Futian area.
