China Strengthens Tourism Cooperation With Greece

Greek National Tourism Organization and China National Tourism Administration have agreed to strengthen cooperation.

The two sides have invited journalists from both countries to promote the two countries' exchange and communication in tourism.

According to the minister of Greek National Tourism Organization, Greek tourism department will invite Chinese journalists and students of tourism schools to visit their country during this year's summer holiday. The minister hopes Greece is introduced to more Chinese people through the Beijing Tourism Trade Fair and Greece Culture Year.

Shao Weiqi, director of CNTA, said that Greece has been invited as a distinguished guest to Beijing Tourism Trade Fair held this summer. He hopes that cities and travel agencies of the two countries reinforce their cooperation and Greek hotels that receive Chinese tourists will provide Chinese language television programs at their hotels.
