Phan Ing PaiPhan Ing Pai has been appointed to the general manager post at Swiss-Belhotel Hualun in Hefei.

A Malaysian, he graduated from the Swiss Hotel Management School in Caux, Switzerland. He joined Swiss-Belhotel International in 2004 in Wuhan as general manager and subsequently was transferred to Suzhou in 2006 for the group's HIP hotel project. In 2007 he was then relocated to Shanghai for group's hotel project development.

Prior to Swiss-Belhotel International, he spent time with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts in China and Rihga Royal resort in Malaysia. Phan spent 7 years in Europe before returning to Asia, his experiences include director of operations for a collection of eight restaurants; assistant manager for Hotel La Reserve & Spa in Geneva; and marketing director in the creation of Institute of Hotel Business Administration in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is the elected committee chairman 2005-2008 for the Swiss Hotel Management School Alumni Association.
