Lufthansa Appoints New Southern China General Manager

Lufthansa German Airlines has announced the appointment of Nico Beilharz as general manager for Southern China.
Based in Guangzhou, Beilharz will be responsible for overseeing the passenger airline's operations, sales and marketing functions in Guangzhou and the surrounding area known as Pearl River Delta in the Southern part of China.
Previously, Beilharz held the position of general manager for Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City and led the airline's operations in that market. In his tenure, he made active contributions to strengthen Lufthansa's leadership position in the growing market of Vietnam, introduced electronic ticketing as well as recently opened the first Lufthansa City Centre in Vietnam.
