Allan Zeman, chairman of Hong Kong Ocean Park, has told local media the company plans to build three new hotels.
Their building plan has been filed with the Hong Kong SAR government for approval and the first three-star hotel located outside of the Ocean Park is expected to be completed by 2011. Zeman estimates that the final result on the application may come out in a few weeks.
He says they may consider first building the hotel, operating it and then transferring ownership, though final business strategies have not been set.
