With RMB3.5 billion investment from the OCT Group, OCT East is debuting the first phase of its eco-tourism mountain resort and theme area.

Covering nine square kilometers, this natural tourist attraction is intended to bring urbanites back to nature. OCT East is divided and designed into three conceptual zones: Knight Valley, Tea Stream Valley and Wind Valley. These areas combine multiple functions such as ecological living and outdoor activities.

The Tea Stream Valley, a combination of Western and Eastern cultures, contains tea, flowers and bamboo as its main elements. The Wind Valley which features sports and golf, along with The Interlaken OCT Hotel and the Mineral Spring Spa.

As the second phase of the project, the Knight Valley is to be opened during the spring festival of 2008. This eco-theme park will feature elements such as forests, rivers, Red Wine Town and the Statue of Guanyin Sitting in a Lotus Throne. Each area will feature rides and attractions.
