Air China has introduced a new service called "Air Express" for passengers flying between Beijing and Shanghai, where they can now enjoy any of Air China's 20 scheduled daily flights, including seven code-shared flights, on the route.

The new service features special check-in counters, baggage service, security inspection, and boarding channels, all dedicated to the "Air Express." Passengers can also benefit from using Air China's 24-hour telephone call center in China for enquiries, or by using the Air China website to check in online.

"We are delighted to bring passengers our newest service improvement with ‘Air Express,' said Zhang Lan, Senior vice president for Air China. "We have overhauled our service for this valuable and important route, where we want to give our customers a travel experience tailored to their needs. Our work on ‘Air Express' began early this year, and we have introduced improvements to operations, sales needs, and total-process design to make this a success for our customers."
