Michelin has begun exploring the outbound Chinese travel market by publishing a Chinese-language guide book for Italy.
The Chinese version of its Italy guidebook has reportedly sold more than 40,000 copies. Different from other language editions, this book pays more attention to Chinese people's interests and assuages their culture shock.
Michelin suggests that Chinese travelers do their homework before departing on their trips to improve the quality of their trips.
