TPO Passes Manifesto To Boost Tourism

The Tourism Promotion Organization for Asia-Pacific Cities have passed a resolution for what they call the "Guangzhou Manifesto" during their recent meeting in the southern Chinese city.
The aim of this manifesto has been to improve the tourism industry growth and enhance the communication and cooperation among the member cities. Their goal for 2009 is to increase the the member cities by more than 7%. In order to reach that goal, they will develop road shows among the member and potential cities.
Twenty-five representatives from 43 member cities and 9 countries attended this meeting.
