The Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing has promoted George Baird to resident manager, in charge of the hotel's day-to-day operations, primarily focusing on driving guest satisfaction and customer loyalty.
Baird, who hails from Scotland, has a wealth of hospitality experience and a strong background in food and beverage operations. Since joining Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in 1992, he has worked in Shangri-La hotels in Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai and Dalian. He joined The Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing in 2005 as the director of food and beverage, playing a critical role in the changes and success of the division.
