Laiwu Hotels Go Green

Four hotels in Shandong's Laiwu have just attained their "Green Hotel" distinctions.
Xinxing Mansion, Laiwu Guesthouse, Gangdu Hotel and Jindi Mansion have been awarded the titles and have been issued plaques they can hang in their hotels. Among these four, Xinxing Mansion has been selected as a "Golden Leaf" level hotel.
"Green Hotel" is one of national standards in China meant to promote green operations and sustainable development within the hotel industry. There are grades of "Golden Leaf" and "Silver Leaf", and local media report that there are now 54 green hotels that have attained the "Golden Leaf" status in Shandong province.
