GreenTree Inn recently opened a new outlet in Tianjin, and has plans of expanding to more than 30 budget hotels around the city before the 2008 Olympic Games next August.
The new hotel is located in Heping District, and the main building of this new hotel was originally an old protected architectural building in the city. GreenTree Inn has reportedly renovated it according to their own brand style but kept some unique features.
Founded by several multinational companies, GreenTree Inn has opened 53 outlets in China, with more than 100 under construction. They plan to reach 225 by the end of 2007 and break through 500 by 2008 to be one of the top international business hotel chain brands in China.
