Shenzhen Airlines To Add Two Bases

Shenzhen Airlines announced that they has applied for new bases in Jinan and Xishuangbanna.
According to CAAC, Shenzhen Airlines has passed the preliminary investigations of CAAC East China Regional Administration. Jinan International Airport Company has agreed for Shenzhen Airlines to set up a base on Jinan Yaoqiang Airport and promise to provide some relative guarantees. Shenzhen Airlines will transfer two B737 aircrafts and some technical staff to its Jinan base.
In addition, CAAC Southwest China Regional Administration has initially approved Shenzhen Airlines' application for a Xishuangbanna base. Yunan Airport Group Company has agreed for Shenzhen Airlines to open in Xishuangbanna Gasa Airport, and Shenzhen Airlines will allot three B737 aircraft and some staff to that location.
Through expanding bases in Chinese domestic cities, Shenzhen Airlines plans to reach more than 70 aircraft and over RMB10 billion in revenue in 2007.
