Tony Tang has been appointed general manager of Beijing Hong Kong Jockey Club Clubhouse.
Born in Beijing, Tang previously worked for several five-star hotels of Shangri-La Group prior to this assignment. He was hotel manager of Shangri-La Harbin, resident manger of Shangri-La Dalian and director of rooms of Pudong Shangri-La Hotel. As the leader of the opening team of Beijing Clubhouse, Tang will be responsible for launching Hong Kong Jockey Club, the prestigious club brand in Beijing which will open in the first quarter of 2008.
