Townsend Takes Grand Millennium Beijing Role

The Grand Millennium Hotel Beijing has appointed Jacinta Townsend as its director of marketing.
The hotel is slated to open in the second quarter of 2008, and Townsend is responsible for leading its marketing, sales and public relations functions. A Singaporean, she is an experienced marketer and senior executive with almost 30 years spent working in locations such as Singapore, London, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and Indonesia. Much of Townsend's previous career has been with ITT Sheraton, Starwood and she most recently spent five years as director of marketing at Hotel Mulia Senayan.
