Marco Polo Hotels Appoints Director Of Sales For Beijing Property

Richard Chang is the new director of sales for Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing.
Chang, a Chinese national, will be responsible for all sales and management of the corporate and leisure markets. He is also directly responsible to drive corporate, meeting and leisure business to the recently opened Beijing property.
He was previously regional director of sales for Beijing of Marco Polo Hotels, and Chang joined the group in 2002 and has played a key role in developing and growing the outbound business within the north eastern part of China to all Marco Polo hotels.
He began his career in the hotel industry with the Hilton Hotel in Beijing as sales manager and moved on to set up the Beijing National Office for the Hilton Group. He has also worked for Harbour Plaza Hotel Group to set up its Beijing Regional Office prior to joining Marco Polo Hotels.
